Did the movies you saw as a late teen, young adult influence your life?

we didn't have a tv till I was a freshman but I remember watching a lot of politics and Bing Crosby, Winky Dink, Terry and the Pirates, Kate Smith, Howdy Doody, Roy Rogers, Zorro, Buster Brown Show, Ed Sullivan Show, I remember Mama, Life of Riley, the Honeymooners, a lot of Opera on the Firestone Hour, maybe an outer limits show and a police show of sorts, Bandstand and the Mickey Mouse Club. We didn't go to the movies, in fact I saw only one movie during the whole time I was in highschool. We did have a lot of church doings though. I remember Lillies of the Field and the Flying Nun. Anything else prior to age 21 I don't think I would have understood.
