Does Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles follow the movie plot line?

the series does not follow the movies. if you recall in the past movie, the rise of the machines- sarah is said to have dies of cancer in mexico, in the series they explain this finally... being she jumped time over when she was supposed to die. and John henry is the machine weaver kept in the basement of her company. she said she was building him to protect the humans but really i am almost positive she was making him to start cyberdyne again. no john henry isn't in the movies.. he is in the series only.
