Why does everybody do this?

People have been using me and lying to me for years. It's getting pretty annoying, and I really just want to clock someone. All I have ever done is try to be kind, generous, and helping to everybody, and yet the world continues to **** on me. Why are people such to me? Can I now go back to being the cynical *** that people won't mess with? I really want to go back to being the hard 17 year old guy that I am.
