Historical holiday location in Turkey?

I am planning to holiday in Turkey next year. I would like to go to a mainstream resort ( a resort featured in alot of holiday brochures) that would be of historical interest (by the way, I have been to Ephesus before as part of a cruise I was on this summer). Has anyone got any suggestions for anywhere historical?
