Is this a good enough GPA for these schools?

First of all, you'll have to recalculate your GPA. Colleges ask for unweighted GPAs because every high school weights cles differently. For example, honors cles were not weighted by my high school, and AP only counted for 0.25 above a normal grade. It's not fair to compare students on different systems. And with such a low freshman year GPA, I'm guessing your unweighted GPA isn't fantastic (3.6, maybe?). And that's pretty much the lowest GPA to still have a shot at top schools, and that's with outstanding activities (published author, original research, hollywood star). You'll probably have a pretty good shot at the last 4 on your list.
